    1. To create a double boiler - heat 2 cups of water in the pot to a simmer and place the glass bowl overtop the pot. Keep the heat on low and pour in the chocolate chips. Stir occasionally using the rubber spatula to make sure the chocolate melts evenly.

    2. Meanwhile, place the silicone molds on a small plate or baking sheet that can easily be moved into the freezer.

    3. Once the chips are melted, pour enough chocolate into each mold to ensure a thick layer. Brush up the sides to create an even coating. Pour out any excess if needed. Then, place the whole sheet in your freezer for 10-15 minutes. Reserve a little chocolate for fusing the eggs.

    4. Meanwhile, prepare your fillings. After the molds have solidified, remove them from the freezer, carefully peel them from the shapes and working quickly, fill half with whichever toppings you’d like.

    5. Using the melted chocolate (reheat over the double boiler if necessary), brush a layer on the exterior edge of the unfilled halves. Carefully press them together until they hold. Repeat with the remaining eggs and return to the fridge or freezer to help solidify.

    6. Remove and enjoy!
