Arezu’s Live Events: Pranayama to Unleash your CHI

We had International Yogi & Youngest Kundalini Certified teacher, Arezu @inspire_zu, lead us through a session of Pranayama and Meditation to #DiscoverYourChi. You can find it here.

Using specific pranayama (breath exercises) helps to open our lungs. Now more than ever we need to expand into our full respiratory capacity and boost our immune system. 

Prana is another word for Chi, or the Breath. Research shows that a regular practice of controlled breathing can decrease the effects of stress on the body and increase overall physical and mental health.

To end, she guides us through a Kundalini Meditation called “Removing Fear of the Future” that uses specific mantra and mudras to release anxiety and open our hearts to surrender. 

This session will benefit all ages and levels during a time of self-isolation and self-care.  

By age 14 Arezu was the youngest certified Kundalini Yoga teacher in USA. She teaches over 11 styles of yoga, but mostly known for her trademarked fusion class, “Kundalini Core Flow” which combines most of her lineages as well as her popularized, “Brain Boosting” workshop, that bridges science and spirituality sharing brain scans on a meditation that reverses memory loss. Alison Gannet’s Dairy-Free Creamer Recipe 

Alison Gannett was diagnosed with terminal malignant brain cancer in 2013, and given just months to live. After a partially successful surgery, she found Dr. Nasha Winters. By utilizing her metabolic approach and making radical changes to her diet Alison saw stunning results that confounded her doctors. Her cancer growth stopped and she manages it with a diet specific to her DNA as well as lifestyle changes.

Sarah Kadison’s Keto Coffee Cake

Sarah is a mid-twenties girl living in the city of Boston who loves to create healthy, delicious dessert recipes. She’s living proof that a fit & healthy lifestyle can include eating dessert every single day.

Sarah always had a passion for baking a huge sweet tooth, but limited herself to special occasions because of the “unhealthy” nature of desserts. 

In college, she developed a strong interest in working out and eating healthy. She still loved to bake, but recipes filled with refined white flour, sugar, and oils no longer fit with her lifestyle. She started the Instagram account @sarahsfitfood to share healthy recipes and workout tips, as well as to create a community of people with similar interests.

“After graduating in May 2015, I found out I needed to commit to a strictly gluten-free diet and could no longer use the recipes I had grown up baking. I started to experiment with healthy natural ingredients to make dessert recipes that are not only gluten-free, but also easy to make, refined sugar-free, allergen-friendly, vegan-friendly, as well as being lower in calories, carbs, and fat, and higher in protein.”
