Change of formula?

"I’ve been a loyal Lakanto customer for many years (since 2019!) and have exclusively used your products—in all variations—because I bake frequently and you consistently offered the best sugar replacements on the market. What always set Lakanto apart was the absence of the typical issues found with other sweeteners: no cooling sensation, no aftertaste, and no coating or “film” on the tongue. Unfortunately, with my last few purchases, I’ve noticed a change in product performance. In particular, the Golden raw cane sugar replacement has started producing a noticeable cooling sensation, an unpleasant aftertaste, and a lingering, sugar-like coating on the tongue after baking. This has now occurred with two separate packages, which makes me wonder whether the formula or ingredient ratios may have changed. This is disappointing, as Lakanto has long been the only brand I trusted and relied on for baking. If the formula has indeed been altered, I sincerely hope you consider rolling it back. Bakers depend on consistency, and this change significantly impacts the usability of the product for baked goods. I would appreciate any clarification on whether there have been recent formulation changes. Lakanto has always stood out for quality, and I hope this remains the case going forward. Thank you for taking the time to look into this."

Q&A

I see all the listed, "No" added, but nothing about Gluten free? I have Celiac disease, I doubt it has any, but the add listed all of the other usual no-no's, so I want to make sure! Thanks!
Thank you for your question! Lakanto products are not made with gluten.
Do you ever offer free shipping
Hi! I'm happy to say that we do offer free shipping for any order over $75.Hope this helps!
What's the difference between gold and classic?
Hi! The Classic is used like a regular granulated white sugar and the Golden is used like a raw cane sugar. Classic is derived from the pulp of monk fruit (not bleached or processed) and it has a neutral flavor comparable to white sugar. Golden is derived from the seeds and peel of monk fruit and has the same nutritional value as Classic. The flavor of Golden compares to raw cane sugar and has maple undertones! Hope this helps clarify things!
Do you offer this product in larger bags than the 3 lb?
Our 3lb packages are the biggest on our retail side, if you'd like to open a wholesale account with us there are larger options but you'll need a Valid Tax ID in order to sign up. Hope this helps!
