What really makes this recipe stand out is the homemade strawberry glaze, lightly sweetened with Lakanto Sugar-Free Maple Syrup for that classic flavor you love, reimagined with a better-for-you twist.

Whether you’re starting your morning or looking for a mid-day reset, this smoothie delivers both flavor and function. It’s packed with wholesome ingredients, naturally sweetened with fruit and dates, and finished with a swirl of coconut cream and vibrant strawberry glaze for a beautiful, café-style presentation right at home.

Ingredients

Smoothie

  • ½ cup milk of choice
  • ¼ avocado
  • 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • ½ banana
  • 1 scoop collagen powder
  • 2 pitted Medjool dates

Strawberry Glaze

Toppings

  • Coconut cream

Directions

1. Prepare the strawberry glaze
In a small saucepan, combine the strawberries, lemon juice, Lakanto Sugar-Free Maple Syrup, a pinch of salt, and a splash of water. Heat over medium until the strawberries soften and release their juices. Lightly mash with a fork to create a chunky glaze, then transfer to a bowl and let cool completely.

2. Blend the smoothie
Add the milk, strawberries, banana, avocado, collagen powder, and Medjool dates to a blender.

3. Blend until creamy
Blend until smooth and velvety. If the texture is too thick, add a bit more milk until it reaches your desired consistency.

4. Prepare the glass
Spoon coconut cream along the inside of your serving glass for a layered effect. Add 1–2 tablespoons of the cooled strawberry glaze.

5. Assemble and serve
Pour the smoothie into the prepared glass, then finish with an extra drizzle of strawberry glaze if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
