Rich Maple Flavor With Less Than 1 Gram of Sugar

Lakanto Maple Syrup is the finishing touch that makes these Brie Bites so good. It has a rich, thick texture, smooth pour, and unmistakably maple flavor, making it perfect for drizzling over both sweet and savory recipes.

With less than 1 gram of sugar per serving, Lakanto Maple Syrup gives you that classic maple experience while being more mindful of sugar. In this recipe, it's drizzled over the warm Brie Bites right after they come out of the oven, allowing the rich maple flavor to soak into the melted brie, bacon, and crunchy nuts.

That combination of salty, creamy, crunchy, and sweet makes these little bites seriously hard to resist.

The Sweet and Savory Combination

The magic of these Brie Bites comes from the contrast between each ingredient.

Creamy Brie

Brie melts beautifully inside the puff pastry, creating a rich and creamy center that pairs perfectly with the salty bacon and sweet maple flavors.

Crispy Bacon

Cooked and crumbled bacon adds a savory, salty crunch that balances the sweetness of the maple syrup and candied nuts.

Lakanto Maple Candied Nuts

Chopped Lakanto Maple Candied Nuts add texture and a delicious maple flavor to every bite. Their crunch gives the soft, melted brie and flaky pastry a little something extra.

Lakanto Maple Syrup

A final drizzle of Lakanto Maple Syrup brings all the flavors together. Its rich maple taste balances the savory bacon and creamy brie while adding a sweet finishing touch.

Tips for the Best Maple Bacon Brie Bites

A few simple tips will help make these appetizers golden, bubbly, and full of flavor.

Cut the Brie Into Small Pieces

Cut the brie into pieces that fit comfortably inside each pastry cup. This helps the cheese melt evenly without overflowing too much during baking.

Don't Overfill the Pastry

Keep the fillings contained within each puff pastry square. The brie will melt as it bakes, and leaving a little room around the edges helps keep the pastry crisp and golden.

Use Fully Cooked Bacon

Cook the bacon until crisp before crumbling it over the brie. This keeps the bacon from becoming soft and gives each bite a better texture.

Add the Maple Syrup After Baking

Drizzle the Lakanto Maple Syrup over the Brie Bites while they're warm and fresh from the oven. This keeps the maple flavor bright and gives you that delicious glossy finish.
