Ingredients

  • 10 lbs Pork Shoulder Roast

  • 3 Tbsp Yellow Mustard

  • ¼ cup Magic Dust

  • 1 pint Apple Juice

  • ½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar

  • 3 Tbsp Red Pepper Flakes

Directions

  1. Set smoker to 225 degrees (hickory pellets recommended).

  2. Slather pork shoulder with mustard. Season all sides with magic dust rub.

  3. Place meat on smoke. Spritz with apple juice every 30 min until internal temp reaches 160 degrees.

  4. Wrap pork in aluminum foil and return to smoker. Cook until internal temp reaches 206 degrees

  5. Place into a cooler and allow to rest for 2 - 4 hours

  6. Remove from cooler and unwrap and pull the pork.

  7. Season with 1/2 cup apple cider vineger and red pepper flakes
