Can you sub regular all purpose flour or self rising flour for the almond?

16 servings from an 8 in square pan…yield would be 1/2″ × 1/2" at 1.7 (net) carbs…..hmmm this recipe is a little slight in serving size for too many carbs…
I am allergic to nut, so I can’t use almond flour. Is there a flour I can substitute for this?
