If you're searching for the best cast iron skillet cornbread recipe, look no further. This golden, buttery Southern-style cornbread bakes up with a perfectly crisp crust and a moist, tender crumb — all thanks to the heat-retaining magic of a cast iron skillet. What makes this version stand out is the use of Lakanto Cane Sugar with Monk Fruit, which delivers just the right touch of sweetness without the added sugar. Whether you're serving it alongside a summer BBQ spread, a bowl of chili, or a pot of slow-cooked beans, this easy homemade cornbread recipe comes together in under 35 minutes and pairs beautifully with honey or maple butter.
