Krechelle Hymas, a national NPC bikini competitor, is a wife and mother of three children as well as a small business owner in Utah.
“In 2015, I realized I was becoming overweight and my eating habits turned unhealthy. While I was visiting my family in California, someone took a picture of me and I realized I had back fat roll that I didn't notice before. That same day, I joined an online fitness group put on by Cody Sattler, a former contestant on The Bachelorette.
For 16 months I was part of his amazing online fitness group. The program helped me changed my lifestyle, especially when I started eating cleaner and healthier! I decided to put myself first, which meant going to the gym before folding that basket of laundry. With that strategy, I lost 30 lbs within 16 months.
In the fall of 2016, I decided to take my training a step further and set a goal to start competing. In March 2017, I attended my first NPC show where I took home 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies in each class I entered, which qualified me for nationals! I competed again in April at my local NPC show once again, qualifying me to compete at a national level. This July, I flew to Pittsburgh and competed in my very first National NPC show, bringing home a 5th place trophy! My next national show is the end of August and my goal, of course, is to earn my pro card by winning a 1st place trophy!
I started my Airbrush tanning business in 2014 and have loved every day of it! I felt that it was important to teach others about how damaging tanning beds and sun tanning is. I am happy to make men and women look and feel amazing the healthy way. It’s been quite the experience the last few years. I’ve even had the opportunity to spray the dancing with the stars cast!
For the past two years my lifestyle has completely changed. I look better and most importantly, I feel better. My family eats clean and healthier every day and the changes have been amazing. I love helping others with their meal plans and setting goals at the gym. It’s been so motivating and inspiring becoming involved in the fitness community.
I travel to many fitness expos where I have the chance to share with others and learn myself as well. Cutting sugars and all the breads from my home was the best thing we ever did! And like I said learning to put your health first! You can’t take care of others if you aren’t taking care of yourself. You can follow my fitness journey on Instagram: fitblondekrush.”
